Itinerary

  • Day 1: Petting Llama and Alpaca Zoo- Pisac- Buffet Lunch at Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Moray

    To begin the Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour we will pick you up from any hotel in Cusco at 8 a.m.,  then we take our private van to the first stop; the Awanacancha alpaca and llama petting zoo, here you will see cute traditional animals of the andes such as llamas, alpacas, viñuna, and guanaco. 

    Your guide will share with you interesting information, show you a potato display and a textile center, showing how the wools are woven and colored; good quality alpaca and llama wool will be for sale. Then we will drive to El Mirador del Valle Sagrado which is the Sacred Valley Lookout Point, to take pretty photos and be enchanted by the views. 

    Then we will catch our bus for 30 minutes towards the Pisac archaelogical site where our guide will take us to most amazing spots and will share interesting facts about the sacred valley of the incas and the inca site.

    Continuing with our sacred valley of the incas tour, we will drive for 30 minutes to a restaurant in the sacred valley of the incas where will enjoy a tasty buffet lunch; after lunch and digest time we will drive for 30 more minutes to Ollantaytambo where we will see wonderful inca structures such as retaining walls, houses, temples, water fountains, etc.

    After visiting the Ollantaytambo inca site you will board our private van for 40 minutes towards the pretty circular farming area of Moray where we will be enchanted by the amazing shape and beauty of this inca place; following with our sacred valley of the incas tour we will drive for 40 minutes to your hotel in Cusco through a enchanting sunset.

A memorable Short Inca Trail experience

We did the Short Inca Trail as a couple with Wari Expeditions and really enjoyed the experience. The hike was moderately challenging, but we had time to take in the scenery along the way. Visiting Wiñay Wayna and arriving at Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate were highlights for us.

The full-day tour to the Sacred Valley was an incredible experience. Everything was very well organized, from the punctual pick-up to the comfortable transportation.
